Join Cycle for Hope

Would you like to help others and have some fun at the same time? Then check out Cycle for Hope on October 5th and join any of three fun rides.

You can choose between the 12 mile course, the 35 mile course, and the 62 mile course. All three courses cover some beautiful territory in Wake County. It’s bring your own bike and safety equipment is recommended.

The event costs just $35 and the proceeds go to the Hope Center at Pullen. The Hope Center provides help to youth who are transitioning out of foster care. I helps them find jobs and housing. Helping foster kids make a successful transition to adulthood helps to reduce homelessness in Wake County by targeting an a-risk population.

You can register for the event online. You also get a t-shirt for participating if you register by September 27th.

On-site registration and packet pickups happen at 7:30 am on the day of the event. The 35 mile and 62 mile rides start at 8:30 am. The 12 mile ride will start at 9:30 am.

If you love getting out on your bike and meeting new people in the support of a good cause then think about signing up! There’s only one slight risk: the event does shut down if the weather gets dangerous, but Hope Center doesn’t offer refunds. It’s probably best to think of the registration fee as a donation rather than as an admission fee.

After all, even if the event does get rained out you’ll still be donating to a good cause!
